By Jazz Paparazzo | Front Row Jazz
Front Row Jazz was in the room on Sunday, July 5th — closing night, 8:00 PM show — as the James Brandon Lewis Quartet wrapped a historic run at the Village Vanguard. Jersey City Jazz Festival 2026 — A Front Row Experience
The Hudson River waterfront transformed into jazz paradise over Memorial Day weekend as Jersey City welcomed back one of New Jersey's most celebrated musical events — the Jersey City Jazz Festival 2026, produced by Riverview Jazz. With three stages running simultaneously, world-class musicians, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Manhattan skyline, this was a weekend that reminded the world why jazz is timeless. Front Row Jazz was there, camera in hand, capturing every moment.

For thirty years, Vision Festival has stood as one of the last true gathering places for creative improvised music — a space where the avant-garde isn't a niche, it's the whole point. This year's edition, presented by Arts for Art at Abrons Arts Center on New York's Lower East Side, closed out its six-night run with two of the most vital nights of the week. Frontrow Jazz was on the ground for both, camera in hand, to document a lineup that stretched from elder statesmen to the next generation carrying the tradition forward.

We celebrate the cultural impact of jazz across generations. Every frame is a testament to the moments that make this music timeless.
This is not just photography. This is jazz history, told one image at a time.
